With the HALion String Edition 2, Steinberg moves up to the top segment of string orchestra products. At its price point, the samples set new standards both in terms of quantity and quality. The large number of articulations – and not least the brilliant Bowing Control feature – allow highly homogenous orchestral arrangements on your computer. The stability of this application is exemplary. Of course there are serious alternatives on the market, but not at a price that is so musician-friendly. I can recommend the HALion String Edition 2 most warmly!
