Advanced Integration Tour
Steinberg is presenting its new hardware on the AI Tour through Europe. Making a number of stops along the route, the tour is hitting the road with the MR816 CSX and MR816 X FireWire interfaces as well as the CC121 USB controller together with Cubase 4.5.
Ricky Garcia Releases Solo Album
Guitar virtuoso and Cubase user Ricky Garcia has recently opened a new chapter in his career with the release of Let Sleeping Dogs Lie. Apart from rising in prominence with the launch of his solo career, Garcia is no newcomer to the rock music scene. He graduated from Berklee College of Music — a Berklee alum to have been endowed with a scholarship — and has moved through a succession of bands before settling down with LaFee, a pop/rock band boasting multiple gold and platinum awards.
Samuel L. Jackson’s Lakeview Terrace Wins US Weekend Box Office
Lakeview Terrace, starring Samuel L. Jackson, recently won the US weekend box office on 21st of September with a revenue of 15.6 million dollars. The whole sound design and the extensive audio effects for that movie were done with Nuendo. We had the chance to talk to post-pro legend Ronald Eng from Gig-Eng Productions, who has worked on Lakeview Terrace with Steinberg’s dedicated post-production software.
European Post Scene Embraces Nuendo
Steinberg’s Nuendo has increased its outreach throughout the post production industry in Europe, with a number of new installations of the latest generation of Steinberg’s Advanced Audio and Post Production System in the last few months. Several studios have installed their first Nuendo-based workplaces, with others expanding the number of licenses at their facilities.

Cubase 4.5 and Cubase Studio 4.5 Update
Steinberg is pleased to announce the availability of a new update to its Cubase 4 and Cubase Studio 4 Music Production Systems. The 4.5 versions are available now as a download for all registered Cubase 4 and Cubase Studio 4 customers. Berkleemusic Launches Cubase Online Course
Berkleemusic, the online music school of the renowned Berklee College of Music, offers online music courses in music production, music business, songwriting, music theory and performance. In cooperation with Steinberg, Berkleemusic has now also added Cubase to their online curriculum and has launched a brand new online course “Producing Music with Cubase”.
