From May 17 to 20, 2008, Steinberg presented its dedicated post production software Nuendo 4 operating in unison with products by Euphonix and the WK Audio to an excited audience from the Post Production and Broadcast industries at the 124th AES fair.

Countless visitors took the chance to meet Nuendo product experts face to face, and get a detailed look at Nuendo 4 through one-on-one demonstrations. Controlled by the Euphonix MC Pro and the new WK Audio ID Mix controller, the outstanding workflow and new features of Nuendo 4 were displayed on several large LCD screens. The new Steinberg MR 816 CSX Advanced Integration FireWire Interface was also a major draw for show visitors.

But Nuendo 4 was not only at the Steinberg booth: during the whole fair, Steinberg’s Audio and Post Production System powered demo sessions for live recording together with two linked Yamaha’s DM2000 professional mixers over at the Yamaha booth.

On Monday May 19th, the Steinberg stand saw another event: IOSONO, part of Germany’s renowned Fraunhofer Institute, demonstrated its new surround system, which has been specially developed for the use with Nuendo.
