European customers

All European customers who have bought Cubase 4 between December 1, 2008, and March 31, 2009, (GB/DE version) or April 30, 2009, (FR/IT/ES version) are eligible to obtain a Grace Period Update to Cubase 5 at a special price.

All European customers who have bought Cubase Studio 4 between December 1, 2008, and March 31, 2009, (all language versions) are also eligible to obtain a Grace Period Update to Cubase Studio 5 at a special price.

You are eligible for the Grace Period Update if you have purchased one of the following products within the eligibility period above:

• Cubase 4
• Cubase 4 Updates (all variations)
• Cubase 4 Upgrades (all variations)
• Cubase 4 Competitive Crossgrade
• Plus Education Versions of these products

• Cubase Studio 4
• Cubase Studio 4 Updates (all variations)
• Cubase Studio 4 Upgrades (all variations)
• Cubase Studio 4 Competitive Crossgrade
• Plus Education Versions of these products

Not eligible are Cubase Essential 4, Cubase AI 4, and Cubase LE 4. Used products - regardless of purchase date - are excluded from this offer.

How it works
In order to obtain the update, please mail, fax, or email your proof of purchase to Steinberg. The date of purchase must be clearly visible. It’s also important that you provide a legible, functional email address so that we can provide you with your personalized link to the Steinberg Online Shop from where you will then buy your Grace Period Update.

Once we have received your proof of purchase, we will send a personalized Link to the Steinberg Online Shop to the email address you have provided. By using this link, you can obtain the Cubase 5 Grace Period Update for EUR 19.90 (incl. 19% VAT, plus shipping costs), or respectively the Cubase Studio 5 Grace Period Update for EUR 14.90 (incl. 19% VAT, plus shipping costs).
 
Please note that processing your application for the Grace Period Update may take up to 6 weeks, and that Steinberg cannot process illegible proofs of purchase with missing email addresses.

Steinberg will only accept applications from residents of the following countries: Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Italy, Spain, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Belgium, the UK, Ireland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland. If you reside in any other country, we request that you contact your local Steinberg distributor.
