4Twenty got second place being awarded a Cubase 5

The International Live Award is the biggest band contest in Central Europe, with more than 1,000 participating bands from Austria and five neighboring countries. The more than avid crowd of music lovers and the jury consisting of music journalists and professional musicians pick the ten best bands out of over thirty preliminaries.

This year, as every year, the event’s big finale took place at the Wiener Prater in Vienna, Austria, on May 1. The free-entry open air festival included international headliners and welcomed around 50,000 visitors. The countries’ best bands played live, winning cash prizes and a host of non-cash prizes including one coveted Cubase 5 provided by Steinberg.
