Yamaha has released the MOTIF XS Editor VST and MOTIF-RACK XS Editor VST plug-ins, both of which are based on the VST3 technology by Steinberg and run on Cubase, Cubase Studio, Cubase Essential and Cubase AI, versions 4.5.2 or later.

With MOTIF XS Editor VST and MOTIF-RACK XS Editor VST, you can save your edited settings, manage the MOTIF XS or MOTIF-RACK XS voices in MediaBay*, the central media management system of Cubase, as well as easily search, listen and play voices. Both editors provide a comprehensive and seamless music production environment, letting you combine the MOTIF XS and MOTIF-RACK XS with Cubase in a straightforward and efficient way.
