Yamaha has released a firmware update for the mLAN16E2 expansion card allowing both MOTIF XS and MOTIF-RACK XS to run with the Yamaha Steinberg FireWire driver. With the new firmware version and the mLAN16E2 card, the MOTIF synthesizers provide additional inputs and outputs to the MR816 interfaces from Steinberg, routing audio directly via FireWire to Cubase and Nuendo.
