The Mac devotees at MacsimumNews, one of the largest news websites specializing in products and technology centered on Apple’s Macintosh platform have hailed Steinberg’s upcoming MR816 CSX Advanced Integration DSP Studio as a Best of Show product at the Summer NAMM show in Nashville, USA. Previewing an MR816 CSX running with Cubase 4, MacsimumNews found the new unit to be “excellent”, going on to praise it as “a very sweet sounding and simple solution for nearly any sized studio”. The demonstration setup included MR816 CSX running alongside Cubase 4, and displayed the Advanced Integration features that meld the MR816 CSX hardware into the Cubase 4 production software into a unique, completely integrated production system.

MR816 CSX and MR816 X are due to be released in Q3 2008.
