Today Steinberg is pleased to release a new update for Nuendo 4. The new 4.2 version represents the third maintenance update for Nuendo 4, and includes a range of improvements to enhance product stability in day-to-day production. Several workflow improvements and extended hardware compatibility are also part of the new update.

Furthermore, the new update take full advantage of the MR816 series onboard DSP chips and Quick Connect routing functions.”

Nuendo 4.2 offers a range of enhancements to improve workflow and stability, such as new key commands relating to the MediaBay and a new synchronization option. By supporting VST Sound™, Steinberg’s universal media management format, plug-ins from third party manufacturers can be directly integrated into Media Bay.
