Introduced in Cubase 5, the VST Expression technology simplifies the use of musical articulations when composing with large sample libraries. Thanks to VST Expression, the different playing techniques can be specified directly in the Key and Score Editors — without having to switch those using controllers. A VST Expression Map is assigned to samples of a library, loading the right sounds automatically.
