Steinberg and IK Multimedia hit the road in the UK for a series of recording and production master classes. In September, we will visit a couple of places requested by our facebook community, starting off with Nottingham, Newcastle and Glasgow. Additional dates for October and November are soon to be revealed!

All master classes will cover the following topics:

• Recording and arranging
• Working with VST instruments: Fat synth and huge guitar sounds courtesy of HALion Sonic and AmpliTube
• Mixing, automation and exporting to iTunes

The master classes will feature the latest gear from Steinberg, including Cubase 5.5, HALion Sonic and the CI series. In Newcastle and Glasgow, Steinberg’s Andrew Schravemade will be joined by UK guitar legend Paul Rose, who'll be on hand to demonstrate AmpliTube from IK Multimedia. Together they will walk you through recording, arranging and production tips.

All events are free and registration is not required.

Nottingham

September 7, 7 p.m.

Join us at Nottingham's newest live music venue, the TILT Bar, for a music production workshop followed by a jam session. The course will feature Cubase 5.5, HALion Sonic and Steinberg's CI series along with IK Multimedia's AmpliTube and their award-winning applications for the iPhone and iPad. The workshop will be presented by Steinberg's Andrew Schravemade, Paul Kaufman from IK Multimedia and Millennium Music. The Millennium staff will be on hand to answer any questions before and after.

Glasgow

September 8, 7 p.m.

Andrew Schravemade is joined by UK guitar legend and AmpliTube guru Paul Rose for a recording and production master class featuring HALion Sonic, Cubase 5.5 and our CI range of mobile recording solutions. Paul will feature IK Multimedia's AmpliTube and their award-winning applications for the iPhone and iPad. This is our first event with Guitar Guitar and their new dedicated hi-tech store next door, GG-Digital. We're going to celebrate by giving away a copy of our premier VST workstation HALion Sonic.
