Steinberg releases VST3 SDK

Steinberg is pleased to announce the release of the next generation of the world’s most popular audio plug-in interface standard: the SDK for VST3 is now available for download from the Steinberg website. Including many new features and capabilities, VST3 has been designed to provide a platform that not only furthers creativity among audio professionals and developers alike, but also to offer improved stability and reliability for host applications, virtual instruments and effect plug-ins. Multiple, dynamic audio /Os, enhanced CPU efficiency, a new precision automation system and exciting new possibilities for integrating remote control surfaces are just some of the facilities that form part of a milestone of audio technology.
