Steinberg releases Nuendo 4.2 update

Today Steinberg is pleased to release a new update for Nuendo 4. The new 4.2 version represents the third maintenance update for Nuendo 4, and includes a range of improvements to enhance product stability in day-to-day production. Several workflow improvements and extended hardware compatibility are also part of the new update.

The technically advanced “True Integrated Monitoring™” makes it easy to create real-time, no-latency mixes directly from within the Nuendo mixer. Furthermore, the new update take full advantage of the MR816 series onboard DSP chips and Quick Connect routing functions.”

Nuendo 4.2 offers a range of enhancements to improve workflow and stability, such as new key commands relating to the MediaBay and a new synchronization option. By supporting VST Sound™, Steinberg’s universal media management format, plug-ins from third party manufacturers can be directly integrated into Media Bay.
