Upcoming AES Convention in NYC

For decades AES Conventions have been favored by audio professionals, aficionados and everyone in-between to conduct business and share ideas. With its 127th Convention taking place in New York on October 9–12, 2009, the AES is providing workshops, tutorials and a vast trade show area with a smorgasbord of top-notch gear and the latest audio technologies that are certain to impress.

Steinberg will be there to present its hottest products at Stand 754. Placed on a pedestal is the CI2 USB audio interface and AI controller, an entry-level hardware solution combined with Cubase AI 5 which together offer an as-yet unknown level of ease of use for recording and producing music. Second in line are the Nuendo SyncStation preview as well as the MR816 CSX/X FireWire interfaces and the CC121 USB controller with recent Advanced Integration updates, introducing extended control options and workflow enhancements that further streamline production processes.

Also in the spotlight will be the Cubase line of DAWs, now complete with the release of the Cubase Essential 5 music production system, and the exceptional The Grand 3 VSTi with its first-rate collection of virtual pianos.
