Sequel 3 released

Music production and performance just got easier and a whole lot more fun — with Sequel 3, the latest version of Steinberg’s popular music creation and performance software.

The third incarnation of Sequel comes with inspiring creative tools and an impressive collection of quality loops and instruments. The new Beat Page harnesses the power of the Groove Agent ONE drum station and the Beat Designer step sequencer to provide direct access to floor-filling drum sounds and easy programming of rhythmical patterns — all in one spot. Thanks to the latest Virtual Studio Technology (VST), Sequel 3 also includes first-class instruments and effects, such as HALion Sonic SE with more than 500 sounds ranging from funk-drenched guitars to majestic strings over to evolving pads. Plus, the included VST Amp Rack SE turns the computer into a flexible guitar tone suite that covers everything from vintage smooth to earth shuddering crunch sounds. Best of all, the enhanced performance mode in Sequel 3 allows for on-the-fly arrangements and intuitive live remixes.
