Nuendo 5.5 activation code issue

Dear Nuendo user,

With the release of the Nuendo 5.5 update, we also introduced a new activation code distribution mechanism. This mechanism shall improve the activation code handling by showing new activation codes directly within your MySteinberg account.

Unfortunately, we have encountered problems with regards to the activation code distribution for the new Nuendo 5.5 update.

Some of our customers have received a vast number of e-mails containing the same activation code. In addition, some license updates from Nuendo 5 to Nuendo 5.5 might not work correctly.

In order to avoid further inconvenience, we have temporarily stopped the automatic distribution of Nuendo 5.5 activation codes to registered Nuendo users. Our IT specialists are working hard to find the reasons for these issues. We expect the problem to be solved in a very short time.

We recommend you not to install your Nuendo 5.5/NEK 5.5 update until further notice.
