Transfer Formats
Nuendo 4 supports all standard formats for transferring projects commonly used today in professional video editing applications and digital audio workstations. AAF, OMF, OpenTL and AES-31 are among these formats.
Providing loads of options for enhancing export and import workflows, Nuendo features a handy Preview function for all tracks. It lets you do things like import and export tracks selectively, merely reference media data, and consolidate events.
The Track Export is a fast option for exporting selected tracks and the corresponding media files. Media files may be embedded directly into the track archive or they can remain at their point of origin (in the latter case, the export file contains only references to these files).
Nuendo also offers rather nifty network features facilitating direct, real-time transfer of contents among networked Nuendo projects. A sophisticated access rights management system allows multiple users to work jointly on the same project. Each project is automatically updated to the latest status - even via Internet.
