Fraunhofer IIS is the leading research lab for audio coding. More than 100 scientists and engineers working in the field of audio and multimedia to realize tomorrow’s media world. In the course of an expansion of the institute buildings, several new research laboratories have been built, namely an acoustic lab and a recording studio within the audio labs complex of buildings. The acoustic lab is mainly used to test new developments in audio coding; the recording studio enables the necessary recordings.

PD Sound (Great Britain)
The award-winning company PD Sound Design was founded by Paul Davis and is a successful post-production house in London, with a long list of outstanding references. PD Sound Design worked on the Oscar-winning movie The Queen and was also decorated by the eminently respectable Conch Award.

RED Facilities is Scotland’s leading post-production company. They’ve just opened their newly redesigned studio 1 and recently built studio 2.
ClearcutSound (Great Britain)
Clearcut is one of the busiest sound studios in London Soho and has a long history of producing award-winning sound tracks for TV, radio and new media platforms. Beside the BAFTA Television Craft and several Promax UK awards, Clearcut also received a British Television Advertising award. Established by Pete Leggett in 1993 as a production company, Clearcut soon developed into a successful sound post-production facility and today consists of three studios and nine members of staff.
AudioWorks (Switzerland)
Swiss-based post-production Studio AudioWorks produce TV, broadcast and multimedia projects with Nuendo.
Oswald Schwander (Switzerland)

Blautöne (Austria)
Blautöne is located in the heart of Vienna and is among the biggest post-production houses in Austria with 400m² of studio space. The studio complex includes three control rooms, two recording spaces as well as two editing suites. The new Cubase-based surround composition studio also features its own recording room.
Temple of Tune (Belgium)
Temple of Tune is one of Belgium’s leading post-production studios, specializing in sound tracks for television, cinema and radio. Founder Fredo Geavert and his team have more than 25 years of experience in the audio production business, which results in high quality productions. Temple of Tune has four studios.
Yellow Cab (France)
Yellow Cab Studios, founded in 1998, is among the leading post-production houses in Paris. The comprehensive national and international reference list includes films, short films, advertising spots and documentaries. All five Yellow Cab rigs are equipped with Nuendo, which is used for all applications: ADR recording, sound editing/sound design, and as playback machines for mixing.
DOKAN (France)
Based in South Paris, the post-production company DOKAN has opened its doors in summer 2010. The five studio owners are looking back on years of experience in post-production for television and cinema in France and abroad. Their credits include films like The Jacket produced by Section 8 or Mon Colonel produced by Costa-Gavras.

From post-production of full-length films to recording for radio spots, including dubbing and audio description, Barcelona-based Estudis Roca offer a wide range of services for audio post-production.
Wave Studios (Netherlands)
Founded in the late '90s by sound engineers Johnnie Burn and Warren Hamilton, Wave Studios specializes in sound design, music and musical sound design for television, radio, cinema and all digital media, with audio-post for commercials being their speciality. Special skills include Dolby 5.1 EX surround mixing for trailers and commercials, bespoke music composition and voice recording and casting — including APT and CDQ ISDN link capability.

David Hewitt (USA)
For more than 25 years, Remote Recording is among the world’s best-known live recording companies. David W. Hewitt is founder of Remote Recording and a legend in live recording. He has won seven TEC awards as well as Emmys, Grammys and numerous gold and platinum records.
Fernand Bos (USA)
Fernand Bos is one of the most in demand audio editors with a huge amount of experience working on Hollywood-movies. His references include successful films like Cold Mountain, The Ladykillers and We Are Marshall. His long list of collaborations includes the Coen Brothers, Anthony Minghella, the Farrely Brothers and Christopher Guest.
John Ross (USA)
With over 85 film soundtracks under his belt including renowned films such as De-Lovely, The Butterfly Effect and Blade II, re-recording engineer John Ross is one of the most important people in Hollywood’s audio post scene. Steve Tushar (USA)
Long-time Nuendo user Steve Tushar is among the leading sound designers and editors in Hollywood. His long list of credits include successful international productions such as The Lion King, Jungle Book and The Wicker Man starring Nicolas Cage. Together with Ron Eng he worked on Lakeview Terrace with Samuel L. Jackson. Steve’s references as sound designer include computer games, for example, Matrix and Infected.
SPG Studios (USA)
SPG Studios Inc. was founded in 1983 by Helgar Pedrini. Originally, SPG Studios served the ever-growing Hispanic market as a full creative, production and post-production company. Acting as the Hispanic arm of several of the largest advertising agencies in the country, SPG developed some of the most celebrated Spanish language campaigns for such accounts as Coca Cola, Goodyear, Southwest Airlines, Just Tires, and Bank One. SPG Studios have concentrated the efforts fully in the post-production aspect of the entertainment business, providing ADR for theatrical and television projects in Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, French, German, Italian and Castilian Spanish.

Aradhana Sound Service is a state-of-the-art audio post production facility based in India with over 4,500 square feet of facility space. Established in 1985, Aradhana Sound Service has gathered many outstanding references including leading Bollywood productions as well as dubbing and mixing for Hollywood movies like Jurassic Park, Gladiator and King Kong.

Michael Stavrou (Australia)
Michael Stavrou is among the best-known sound engineers in Australia. He has not only worked with producer legends such as Sir George Martin and Geoff Emerick, but was also responsible for the sound of Marc Bolan, Cat Stevens and John Farrer. His own studio is equipped with Nuendo together with a console from Smart AV.
