Do you own a USB-eLicenser?
Full products like Cubase, Nuendo, or WaveLab come with a USB-eLicenser. If you own one of these products, the additional purchase of a USB-eLicenser is not necessary. If you upgrade from Cubase LE or AI to Cubase Artist 6 or Cubase 6, an additional USB-eLicenser will be required.
The same applies if you want to run any of the new Steinberg VST instruments released after 1st January 2005, as these products will not contain a USB hardware protection device.
