HALion 3.5

This update provides 64 Bit support for Windows 64 Bit. It can be used natively in 64 bit sequencers like Cubase 5 or Cubase Studio 5 in order to make use of the enhanced memory address space.
For information on further improvements and installation notes please refer to the document "What's new in HALion 3.5".
Important compatibility notes:
Projects created with HALion 3.5 cannot be loaded by prior versions. But of course HALion 3.5 can load projects that have been created with older versions.

HALion 3 Factory Sound Set 5
This bank features 128 new programs with electronic instruments and drumsounds and can be used with HALion 3.3.1 or later.

Installation
Copy the downloaded Halion 3 Factory Sound Set 5 ("HALion 3 Sound Set 5.hsb") into the directory in which you've stored the standard soundbanks. HALion will recognize the new Bank as soon as you've reassigned the location by using the "Locate Content" function in the Browser.

This is a hotfix version and updates HALion to version 3.3.1.456. We recommend to install this update on top of an already installed HALion 3.3.0 version.
Please note: This version requires at least Mac OS X 10.4.x to run!

Please note: Since they don't pass the whole test process so called hotfixes that address specific bugs can be provided in short term. Due to this reason technical support cannot be granted for hotfixes. Therefore it is recommended that you only install this update when your work with Cubase 4.02 (which is the current fully tested version) is limited by program errors that are fixed in the hotfix.

HALion 3.3.0.450 Update (Universal Binary) Mac OS X [Apr 26 2007]
Now supports Intel-based Macintosh computers! To install version 3.3 there are two options (we recommend #1):
- #1 Install HALion from original DVD as usual and run the 3.3 web updater afterwards.
- #2 Run the Web Updater application and afterwards copy and locate the content files manually (HSB files -> browser page -> HALion content folder -> locate content).
Please notice: This version requires Mac OS X 10.4.x!
