Please note: To use the Cubase 6.5 trial version you need a USB-eLicenser - supplied for example with previous retail versions of Cubase.

No.
Certainly that´s why it says "You need a USB licenser to activate the trial" on the download page...

Brucerez wrote:Hi,
I downloaded today the Cubase 6.5 Trial version from MySteinberg successfully.
Now I have problem with activation. When I try to activate after inserting the Activation code (that I received by email) then It asks me that there is not USB connected to my computer.
This is my first time using the Cubase product in my iMac and I want to try the Trial version before purchase.
I've spent many hours to figure out this issue without any result. All these headache only for testing the Trial version.
I read other posts in this page (sorry guys for you, I am in the same both.) and I would like somebody confirm if:
Is that mean I need to buy a USB eLicenser for trying the Cubase 6.5?
If I have to pay/buy USB eLicenser, so what would mean the Trial version?
Thank you for any assistance.
