I am a Pro Tools user and am wanting to switch over to Cubase. I have used it a couple times and like the work flow. I am a home studio user. Everything I do is my own music, never really have a need for more than 20 tracks, and use a combination of virtual and live insturments. So I have a couple questions...
1. Would I be able to use my existing Mbox Pro interface with Cubase.
2. I am comming from Pro tools 9 so would Cubase 7 be the smarter move or would Cubase 6 elements handle the home hobby studio just fine.
3. Assuming the Mbox Pro works for the interface would I only need the cubase software and the eLicenser dongle to get rolling?
4. And my computer is a Mac with the latest OS. 10.8.2, 16 gig of ram so would this be workable?
I appreciate any help! Thanks much.
