Postby gspot247 » Sat Jan 05, 2013 12:13 pm

Hi Every one

Im in the proccess of getting my second hand copy of cubase 4 reregistered to my name...as still registered in the sellers name. hopefully getting unregistered this weekend !

In order for me to update to cubase 7 do i need to install cubase 4 (registered)...or do i uninstall cubase 4 ?? or just run the cubase 7 update ??
im not sure how this all works ?? or is it as long as my elicence usb dongle is registered in my name ?? do they just send me a new activation code???.....once the update is installed ??
its really confusing....please help

If i pay for the full update to cubase 7 from 4 will it be a full working version of cubase 7...? just as though i went out and brough a full retail version of cubase 7 !

Thanks people Grahm

Hi

It's not that complicate ;)

Just start your new DVD Cubase 7 and follow the instructions.

I just made the upgrade from CB 6.07 to CB 7.00 and it worked perfect.
Afterwards you have anyway to patch it with the CB 7.01 update.

Good luck 8-)

You get the license code in your upgrade box, which you use to upgrade the C4 license on the dongle. Without the license update, you can install the software but not run it.
Then you can install C4 and / or C7. In your case there is no need to have C4 installed first, before installing C7.
