Need help with software

Since I can't post in the product forum, I'm posting here. While I'm pretty technical, I'm new to DAW's. My needs are simple, but I can figure out if Cubase will meet my needs and which version to buy. My needs:

- Be able to record a MIDI file from my DP and have it appear as sheet music.

- Be able to edit the MIDI-created sheet music and have the underlying MIDI file be modified.

That's it. Nothing fancy.

Can Cubase do this? If so, which version?

Cubase Artist 7 and Cubase 7 both offer these kind of features with Cubase 7 offering the full scoring feature set.
We plan to release a trial version of Cubase 7 soon which might help you to test it for yourself.

Thanks for the information. (Sorry for the late response.)

I've purchased UR22, so I'll be able to try out Cubase AI. And, to add to the fun, my notation software includes Sibelius First and Forte 4. Trying to get it to work together should be interesting.
