My dad got me a Zoom R16 audio interface, and I have no idea what it is, how it works, or how to use it. I would like to be able to use it to record music, so I would like to know what it is for and how to use it with Cubase.
In a nutshell, this is not only a stand alone multi-track recorder with mixer, but is loaded with just about everything you need in the box, and can take it anywhere. Plus it's acts as a sound card/interface for your computer to connect all your instruments into, interfacing with the included Cubase recording program for more elaborate recording/editing etc. This is among the coolest pieces of recording tools for the home recordist/musician.
The only thing more awsome is a Zoom R-24 ... which I've been eye eyeballing myself
