no connection with iOS 4.3 & Cubase 5 (Mac OS 10.6.7)

Hi,
I tried to connect Cubase 5 with Cubase IC (4G, iOS 4.3.1) on my Mac (10.6.7) but it's impossible. I followed all instructions (included the installtion of SKI) but IC doesn't show a host to connect to. What is the problem?

I have the same problem, and any can answer me,

same here disabled firewalls, restarted routers, tried with personal hotspots, anything i could think of. installed the SKI. I have the same prob on both my pc and mac! No host found

I cannot reproduce this here. I even found a Mac Mini that was still running on 10.6.6 and tried it with Cubase 5.5.x just to see that it works there. Then I updated to 10.6.7. and it still works. Did you make sure that no ethernet cable is attached to your systems? Only WIFI.

Also, try to establish a connection while the bluetooth is switched off on your iOS device.

i do that,
i have windows 7,
i update bonjour, i install SKI remote,
i turn off the bluetooth,
i only have conected the ipod touch and my pc in the same network on WIFI
i reset the app and cubase,
and nothing!
i only see a page what say "please pick a host"
please help

This is really strange and unfortunately nothing we can reproduce here.
Can you choose and add the Steinberg SKI Remote in Cubase -> Device Setup? Or is it unavailable there?

yes, i add "SKI REMOTE" and, i acept and the window close and nothing, the ipod dont connect with cubase, and i have add now in my cubase 5

I just had a quick chat with the developer. Could you check whether the Apple remote app works with iTunes on your system? According to him it works with a similar protocol and we could see whether it is rather a general connection issue or an app issue.

yes, I have the application installed "remote" and it works excellent,
I also thought it was, but when I run the remote application, start cubase ic and did not work, then shut down and start cubase ic remote and neither worked, and SKI remote install, and disable the antivirus, firewall and nothing yet, I have the latest OS from itunes and my ipod,
I expect a prompt reply please .....
