Problems with Akai MPK mini

Hi everyone, hope this is the right place! This is my first post

But basically I bought the MPK mini recently, but I can't seem to get the knobs to function correctly. I'm using Cubase Studio 5, but no matter what I try, I can't map the knobs to any parameters in Cubase, in fact it doesnt recognise the knobs at all! The pads, keys and arpeggiator all work fine, so I'm really disappointed the knobs don't work.

Does Cubase actually support the MPK mini? One of the main reasons I bought this controller is for the "assignable" knobs, but I can't assign them to anything.

I'm probably doing something really stupid wrong but I'd love it if you could help

Me three! Knobs were working last week, now none are working! I was using them with Reason! now..nothing!

hmm...it's gotta be an setting with the software! that's my hunch...will get back to you guys on it!
