Re: 1.7.1 - Audio Inputs Stuck In Mono - Audiobus Not Select

Hi pdh,

My Tescase, IOS6, Cubasis 1.7.1

1. launch audiobus and assign Korg polisix as input, cubasis as output
2. go to polisix UI, start rec on audiobus cubasis panel
3. play on polisix keyboard and record audio track in cubasis and stop the rec mode
Result : polisix stereo track was recorded in cubasis
Same result in iOS 7.0.4 / cubasis 1.7.2 the next release version coming soon

Re: Cubasis w/ iTrack Solo

Hi SRT 10,

iTrack Solo stereo input works here.
1. Connect iTrack to iPAD 2, iOS7.0.4
2. launch cubasis and create audio track
3. select stereo input 1+2 and start recording.
Result : stereo file is recorded
Note: Mono 1 and Mono 2 is also selectable and works, nothing is greyed out.

Re: Bug Report: MIDI timing issue when using Loop Points

Hi All,

Sorry Customers, I was absence in this forum for cubasis 1.8 automation implementation.

I can confirmed 5 ms cycle jitter only on beat 1 in cycle playback with iElectribe & Cubasis.

It is hardly audible but it's measurably.

Not all cycle jitter with midi clock and other apps is caused by cubasis, but this 5 ms jitter is definitly caused by us.

We are investigate and looking for a fix and we will inform if we have a solution.

Thanks to all the Guys they hear the grass growing.

Re: Loop Mode Affecting MIDI notes

Hi Dave,

It's by design

1. assign Nave as iAA and as midi output
Result: Nave receive "note off" on cycle end

Solution :

2. assign Nave iAA track to "No Midi output"
Result: Nave receive no "note off" on cycle end

Re: Trouble with IAA midi

Hi all,

Workflow with multiple iAA instances and external keyboard in cubasis.

Disconnect inside the iAA standalone App the external midi interface inputs, except the cubasis midi input !

My Testsetup : Motif ES8 and "Midimate II " as external Midi interface

1. create new project and midi track 1 and activate in > setup > arranger > "Arm Selected Track"
2. assign iSEM as iAA instance to midi track 1 and open the iSEM midi settings
3. disconnect the iSEM external midi inputs , set in "off" mode ( see attached picture)
IMG_0014.PNG
4. go back to cubasis and select midi track 1 and play on keyboard
Result : midi track 1 iSEM is soundable
5. create midi track 2 and assign Microsonic Piano
6. select midi track 2 and play on keyboard
Result : only midi track 2 Microsonic Piano is soundable
7. create midi track 3 and assign iMini as iAA instance and open the iMini midi settings
8. disconnect the iMini external midi inputs , set in "off" mode ( see attached picture)
IMG_0013.PNG
9. go back to cubasis and select midi track 3 and play on keyboard
Result : only midi track 3 iMini is soundable
10: select midi track 1 and play on Keyboard
Result : only midi track 1 iSEM is soundable

So, iAA midi with cubasis works as expected.

Please check my description and give me an info if your " iAA midi trouble " is gone !

Re: Using Cubasis with Access Virus Ti

Hi kzarider,

>I am hoping to use keyboard in live situation
You will play midi tracks with cubasis in live situation ?
>...and load multiple midi channels (12 to 16) in ios app to have easy access to sounds in Virus through Midi or USB.
Yes, it's possible. Assign on midi track midi input/output "1-16" or "All" midi channels.
>..I hope to use Cubasis to select channels and control volumes etc.
To control volumes you can use the midi CC data 0-128 you will find inside the midi editor on the left side.
On the midi setup page you can activate "send midi clock" and you can adjustment the midi clock output latency to be in sync with external midi devices and internal midi apps.

Re: Play on 2 (or more) midi channels at once

Hi Timmybro1,

>I'm wanting to use 2 different Micrologue sounds at the same time - like bass on left and keys on right - for live >playing (not recording).

It's possible. I tested it with Motif ES8 and 4 different Keyboard Zones.

Keyboard Zone 1 send on midi channel 1 recieve on cubasis midi track 1 assigned to midi input Channel 1
Keyboard Zone 2 send on midi channel 2 recieve on cubasis midi track 2 assigned to midi input Channel 2
Keyboard Zone 3 send on midi channel 3 recieve on cubasis midi track 3 assigned to midi input Channel 3
Keyboard Zone 4 send on midi channel 4 recieve on cubasis midi track 4 assigned to midi input Channel 4

Please download Midi-OX Windows Software and monitoring the midi events from your controller.
You can see there, if your different keyboard range / Zones send on different midi channels.

In my tests it doesn't work, until I check the different midi channel sending from my keyboard,
because my keyboard settings were wrong before. After some tweaks on my keyboard settings, it works
as expected and we had fun to play and recording Microlougue on midi track 1 as bass and pads
on midi track 2 simultaneously.

thank you for the input !

Re: Sustain CC implementation issue

Hi Nenox,

<Does not work correctly if:
<IAA instrument is being played from MIDI track
<Part is on an IAA instrument track, but IAA instrument is not set to receive on channel 1, so the routing setting of the <track have been set to send the midi to the correct channel..

what you mean... ?

<Does not work correctly if:
<Playing from a midi track to an external MIDI device (EG. S90es)

confirmed in cubasis 1.9 and Motif ES 8 > CB 2269

<Muting part while in play:
<Does not work for any instrument or MIDI target.

confirmed in cubasis 1.9, issue CB 2270

thanks for the info
