Re: Latency and crackling

you could try to set the latency to 512 and you should always have enough free space on your device.I would say at least 1-2 GB.Cubasis sets the latency automatically to 256 but you could just fire up another app before you launch cubasis.I.e you can start audiobus before and set the latency to 512 there.Or you can start Nlog which sets the latency to 512 automatically on iPad2.Start cubasis then and shut down the other app.Now cubasis is set to 512.

Re: Cubasis 1.7.1 maintenance update available soon!

Thank you for listening to the community and working hard to fix these issues. I'm sure I speak for all of us when I say that we're very grateful :-)

Any sign of a fix for audio 'jumping' whilst recording yet (Causing the recorded audio to fall out of time with the track gradually)?
My heart sank when I saw that it wasn't on the list of fixed things.
It's been mentioned a number of times on the forum but with no reply.

I'm really looking forward to Automation, but still won't be able to use Cubasis as my primary DAW until this issue is fixed.

Many thanks

i second that.

Re: Cubasis 1.9 update available

Greedy?Guys,we are talking about 12 fx for the price of a bit more than a buck each.Steinberg delivered a lot of free updates (what about Micrologue for free? Was that also greedy?) in 2 years.I don't have a problem spending a little amount of money for extras now. Some people should really adjust their definition of"greedy".

I also still have some major flaws to complain about and i'll do that in a seperate thread soon but regarding the fx (i bought both packs): definitely worth the asking price (i would have payed the price for the tape delay alone). It's a nice addition to the whole package and since IAA or AB is often enough a f*ckin mess,i appreciate every good native plugin that i can use multiple times and everything is SAVED within my project. Not to mention the almost no CPU hunger of these plugs.

Two things i dislike about the plugs:The 2 delays are way too similar imo,i would have prefered a better sounding compressor or a better"classic"reverb instead.

Second:still not possible to save FX presets?Really? Is this the Steinberg way to force creativity, lol?

edit:and now it's REALLY time for more inserts or subgroups to combine all the FX ;)

Re: [CB-2200] IAA apps missing... why?

@andyPlankton:

Besides Module (which i don't have but seems the same) ALL korg apps are just IAA Generators and not IAA instruments.Of course they don't show up in the instrument list. This is the most lazy IAA integration because the IAA generator is automatically supported if you update your app to the latest audiobus sdk.Basically, the Audiobus team did the work for them ;)

The same counts for Rebirth (or Thor).

You have to open them on an Audiotrack. And route Midi to them from a seperate Midi track (if necessary)
