|Wed Feb 19, 2014 9:40 pm Re: Tips Tricks And Workflow Goodness.
For Windows O/S: Here is a way to restart a USB midi device that was plugged in before starting Cubase and was running properly but somehow got disconnected during the session. Once you discover your USB is disconnected and not working do the following procedure: 1) Shut off your USB midi device 2) ...
|Thu Mar 06, 2014 10:50 pm Please Hands down everybody for Steinberg.
Dear Steinberg,(and others who like reading this): I just want to thank you big time for having created an astonishing DAW over the years. I started in the mid-nineties working with Cubase VST on a Mac G3 OS9 and i remember the very first VST plugins like LM7 I was dazzled by which you could do with...
|Thu Apr 10, 2014 9:41 pm Re: What is going on with Cubase 7?
First off. OBVIOUS INFORMATION for the unready. This is NOT the ISSUES forum. This is NOT the Steinberg SUPPORT desk. I suggest you visit one or the other if one is serious about having these "problems". There is less wrong with Cubase than is wrong with the incompetent who can't get it to...

Hope it was not listed yet:
In the Track Inspector, Alt+Click on the Bypass buttons will reset the settings of Insert / Strip / Equalizer / Send.
|Wed Apr 16, 2014 6:55 pm Re: 7.5.20 Impressions...
The funny part is that the interface wastes more space, and provides FAR less information. I don't loath the "look". I loath the functionality. I want to look at the mixer and see the information.
|Wed Jun 04, 2014 9:23 pm Re: Copying Inserts and Pasting them??
It's easier if you know what you intend to do first. You can just select all the channels, link or Qlink them, then select and setup your insert (or other) effect and it will automatically do the same on all selected channels. If you've already setup the effect in one channel, then select the other ...
|Fri Jul 25, 2014 9:53 pm CUBASE 7.5 Generic Remote Cheat-Sheet
Hello everyone! Today I want to share with you some of my recent work regarding Cubase and Generic Remote. I am in the middle of creating some custom mappings for my orchestral templates here and I feel overwhelmed how much can be done with it to speed up the process of creating/producing/mixing - y...
|Wed Nov 06, 2013 8:51 am [Poll] Fix the insert handling in the new mixer console?
The new insert handling in mixer console, with the hidden buttons, makes workflow better or worse? Edit: Notice where I have the mouse pointer located and what actually happens when I click. This happens all the time for us that have narrow mixer settings (many mixer channels on screen). Take a look...
|Tue Nov 12, 2013 2:18 am F3 to bring Mix Console to front!
Hi, I am alone thinking that having to press F3 two time to bring the Mix Console to front is really annoying? If it is behind let say a Key Editor window or behind MediaBay, the first F3 hit will close MixConsole, and the second will bring it to front. In previous Cubase versions, only one F3 press...
|Thu Dec 05, 2013 11:49 pm [FR] A smaller VSTi Rack please!
...even on my WQHD monitor, the vst rack is so (too) huge, for what purpose ?? and so slow..
it takes about 3 sek to show up, with 26 instruments in the rack, previously it was immediately
|Sun Dec 22, 2013 8:17 pm Key Editor > Mocked-up Enhancements for Film Scoring (pic)
(edit. "Hey Cubase devs. Call me. Let's chat. Your software is a little wonky in places.") Hope you can find some of these enhancements useful... These are only a few things I'd like to see implemented specifically for film scoring in the Key Editor. (mockup pic attached) http://www.edgenm...
|Tue Mar 11, 2014 8:14 am Re: Big Balls for future Cubase versions
I do not think Steinberg should waste resources on "vintage emulations" and synths and that kind of stuff. a Daw like Cubase is supposed to be a general purpose workstation, and should focus on perfecting general functions like bounce in place, GUI and overall workflow optimizations. Genre...
|Thu Apr 24, 2014 8:35 pm Stop adding exporting audio to the bottom of an arrangement
It should go under the current track, 90% of the time I have to drag the new track up 30-40 tracks to where I want it, very boring!
