yes but it’s ok i’ve sorted it out. I found a solution to this on this website under troubleshooting. It looks like the problem was a corrupt preference file. Basically i initialised the preferences by typing the following into the “Run” command prompt: %appdata%/Steinberg
On the screen that then appears i then changed the Cubase 6 folder name to xCubase 6 which then hides this folder. Then when i start Cubase again then a new preferences folder is created.
