Gain Reduction Meters for the Maximizer Get Stuck in 7.05

Postby grpetz » Wed Sep 18, 2013 2:41 am

I'm running Win7 with Intel core I-7 16gb of ram on Asus laptop. During mix down the gain meters on the maximizer in the strip get stuck, in the attached picture it shows them hanging even without audio playback. It does not do this all the time and I don't know what I do in sequence to make it happen (if there is a sequence to it). Anyone else experiencing this problem on Windows? I actually have seen it on and off all the way from the beginning of 7.0.

By the way, it is not my intent to start a complaining thread, just want this issue solved so I can accurately read the meters. Many great features in Cubase 7 and it has come a long way since it was released.

Aloha g,
Altho there was no mention of that in the 'Issues resolved' list
viewtopic.php?f=181&t=46833

Plug-ins
• Besides the channel strip module, Cubase Artist 7 now shows the regular plug-in version of Vintage Compressor.
• Besides the channel strip modules, Cubase Elements 7 now shows the regular plug-in versions of Envelope Shaper, Gate, Maximizer and Vintage Compressor.
• Multiband Compressor no longer causes inaccurate audio if very short audio events are processed.
• The "Live" button state of Multiband Compressor is now restored correctly when opening a project.
• Opening a project created in a previous Cubase version and using bridged VST 2 plug-ins now works without issues.

perhaps in couple of days the .06 update will do just that.

Let's hope so, Fingers crossed.
