iPad 3 Soundcard purchase

Postby carlosmoreton » Mon Jun 03, 2013 1:17 pm

Hi everyone,

I am considering a coupe of soundcards to use with Cubasis on an iPad 3 for some sessions I'll be running at a school.

Based on my need for Midi i/O I liked the 'Roland DUO-CAPTURE EX' and I have also read some good things about the 'Focusrite Scarlett 8i6'. The Focusrite iTrack solo is recommended by Steinberg, but there's no midi.

Has anyone had experience of any other good I/O devices.?

Also, has anyone got an recommendations for a midi switch box that will allow something like 10 midi switchable into 1 output (into the soundcard)???

Cheers
I have a home studio running W7 (64 bit, i7 - 3770K, 32Gb, SSD, RME PCIe Multiface 2, CC121) Cubase 6.5.3 64bit. (Have 7 but waiting for a bit) BFD2, Superior Drummer, Halion 3, Halion Symphonic, Sonic, The Grand SE, Groove Agent 3, Absynth 5, Korg legacy Digital, POD Farm 2, Guitar Rig Pro 5, Scuffham Amp 2, Slate, Roland TD8 Mesh Head kit, various guitars and basses by Fender and Doug Wilkes.
I am available as an online session guitarist [URL=http://www.alexfloyd.com" target="_blank">www.alexfloyd.com[/URL" target="_blank">
