Hi there! I’m new here and really want to record my band on my iPad 4. I’ve been recording for the last 30 years but this is what I’m trying to do now.
Since I live in an apartment and don’t want an eviction notice I’m going to be recording electronic drums; probably a V-Drum kit; guitars through my Zoom pedal, bass through amp emulators and my keyboards direct. most keyboard work will be done on my Korg Kronos. We won’t be recording everything live off the floor because my studio room is just far too small.
I’m not about to go out and buy a big computer either. (The wife won’t let me!)
So here we are. Down to the nitty gritty!
Since we’re here on this site I feel it’s pretty safe to assume that we’re all recording on an iPad.
Which interface do you prefer and recommend and why?
I’m looking for at least 8 XLR ins and prefer the ones that also can be used with a 1/4 inch connector. 12 ins would be better. 2 or more headphone outs but I can get by with one if I really have to. 6 outs is optimum.
If any of you fine people can help me that would be greatly appreciated.
