Fine, Helge, but i'm getting suspicious : just hope that all the UI regressions seen with C7 will not be in it. So :

- Is The preferences 'Appearance / Work area' page still here and functional witn all its features ?
- Is the preferences 'Appearance / Genral' page still fully functional as with 6.5.4 ?
- Is the project cursor still as it was and not whte masked ?
- Are the R/W automation buttons in the FX/Group tracks still behaving normally as they were before C7 ?
- Does the Overview line still have a normal background and not the C7 flashy white one ?
- Are the resources used comparable to C6.5.4 ?
- is the projects loading time still the same as C6.5.4 ?

Thanks for any precisions...

It's probably too late to ask for this option but, I hope we can get all the nice "programming fixes" without committing to the new synths. My version doesn't have them, I don't want them on my system to be honest, but I sure would like to have most/all of the remaining little niggles fixed.

Funny, this posting has 3000 lookers and only a handful of posters. What's with that? Maybe if some of you lookers would post your own personal concerns\desires to get 6.5.5 out to it's devotees, then maybe it might happen a bit sooner????? Just saying.

Well yes, an update would always be nice, but tbh I'm quite happy with what I've got. It's stable and does what I ask it to, so it's actually not really high on my list. I can see how fixes like the variaudio bug are desired though for folks with full Cubase.

Analog: Alesis M1 - Behringer Powerplay Pro-XL - Studio Projects C3 - AKG K612Pro
Instruments: Yamaha DTX750k - Yamaha MO-6 - Waldorf Blofeld - Korg Wavedrum WDX.
3rd party plugins: Native Instruments Prism - Rob Papen Distort - Rob Papen Delay

My humble contributions to what could be considered music.

Let's hope that the reason it's taking so long, is that they are determined to find the cause of the broken elastique and broken audiowarp.
