Back in the day, Bert Weedon was the name to know if you wanted a guitar book, and apparently may well-known names of today did: Pete Townshend, Eric Clapton, John Lennon and Paul McCartney to name but a few.
He’s quoted as saying: “As I travel up and down the country, I meet many groups who try to blast their way to success with too much noise and not enough talent.” Some of his pupils clearly didn’t take his advice.
