Put all 11 drum tracks in a folder > turn on the Group Editing buttom ( by default hit the K key).
If you want to split in sections, use the Comp Tool in combination with the Alt modifier. Then when you select a lane/take on one track it will be reflected on the others.
I have found that if you just use the Comp Tool and drag/swipe-select a section/range, the other tracks WILL NOT follow the later selections you do with the Comp Tool.
I found this through some trial and error, so to sum up:
When splitting your initial range/section selection, use the "old" method of Selection Tool + Alt click, or Comp Tool + Alt click.
Only use the Comp Tool to click select the lane/take you want, not swipe/drag select (this works great on single track comping though).
