I agree with Lydiot.
No one from Steinberg has even tried to tell the rationality and intentions with the new Mix Console and Control Room layout.
Some ideas are of course good, but could have been incorporated into the old mixer just fine (track list/show hide tracks).
In a recording/mixing environment you should not have to "think" about running the equipment. In the new mixer and control room you really have to "think" and not "act", resulting in a lesser workflow.
Setting up a full band tracking session with the new Control Room/studio sends are definitively more cumbersome. I don't use it, beacause the old one works so much better.
Yeah, who makes the decisions?
