It seems that Cubase approach is extremely literal. I´ve tried to put a sound in a mov file without any audio stream and get the “CANNOT REMOVE EXISTING AUDIO STREAM FROM VIDEO FILE” message. When I did the same operation in a .mov WITH audio stream it was all ok. Cubase function really means REPLACE audio in video file.
