Well, for some reason, the new board wouldn't let me sign in with some of my old details but then told me they were already taken when I tried using them to rejoin . :roll:

So I've had to create a different user name and use a different email address but it did accept my old pass word. Very odd. But still, I'm back with a new user name and reset post count but same avatar.

Oh well.

looks like they REALLY wanted to do it if they took the forum down for 5 days. i can only guess it might be some kind of hacking flaw they were worried about by having them linked somehow which would explain why they made the effort to completely separate...
