Audio file markers to Montage

I set markers in a file during a live recording session. I actually used a new Montage, then pressed record, but what I ended up with was an audio file that does not seem to be part of any Montage.

At any rate, I would like to work on the file from a Montage, but when I insert it, none of the markers are present. Is there a way to do this?

Thank you. I had stumbled across the “transcribe” menu selection, but closed it and could not “stumble” across it again.
