Hello: I am re-configuring my project studio and, as we all are, am concerned with budget. The Alesis Master Control Studio Interface is like a studio-in-a-box. So, it has appeal. Nevertheless, I am concerned about signal to noise ratios and having had an Alesis mixer some time ago, I have a concern about the pre-amps in this unit. Should I buy an audio interface? Perhaps one of the focusrite scarlett series? Any views or experiences you might have with the Alesis Master Control in this regard would be welcome.
