Setting up a sound module with Cubase Elements.

Postby rollingblackout » Mon May 26, 2014 2:15 am

I'm trying to configure Cubase to recognize the patch names of my Korg TR-Rack. I'd also like to be able to change banks with a control on my Trigger Finger. Any help on this would be appreciated as it's pretty tedious to use the buttons on the module to dial in the right patch for each channel. My setup is as follows:

AM Phenom II X6 1055-T
16GB RAM
Presonus AudioBox USB
Alesis Q49
M-Audio Trigger Finger
Cubase Elements 7

This is only something I've played around with, and got it to work with my Roland module working like a VSTi & memorizing basic instrument sounds on various tracks within a project, so I couldn't explain well enough. But you'll want to fully read up using External Instruments in your manual.
