I’m trying to get my controller (Allen & Heath QU-24) to control the correct faders in Cubase 8.0.5. It controls the input (red faders) now, and not the track faders, that write automation. I’m not sure why I would want to control faders on the input. I just updated and didn’t have this issue before. I may be missing a setting? Anyone have any ideas?
Turn the Input Channels off in the Channels Types Filter. I believe you can also use the visibility control to turn the input main group off. Turning visibility off for single channels (regardless of type) will not hide the fader in a controller presently - this is a known bug, and should be fixed soon.
