problem when tying notes with a divergent beaming group

Hi,

It seems tying two notes when one of them is included in a divergent beaming group is impossible : the divergent beaming is replaced by a normal one.

Is there a way to get those notes tied ?

Try creating the tie, and then changing the beams in Engrave mode, not in Write mode.

Dorico considers a chain of tied notes to be just “one note”, so when you create the tie it has to make a new set of decisions about how to format the score - including the fact that the “single tied note 5 32nds long” needs to be split into two written notes, which are in separate beam groups, and so the beams also get re-formatted.

So simple indeed !
