Oh dear… well, that didn’t work. 
I will try the Microsoft ‘FixIt’ tool thing now, as Sebastian suggested.
EDIT:- Like you Michel, the MS tool did not find any ‘faults’ so could not repair anything. So, now I have no C6 and no C6.5 Hmmm…
