Bug report, midi recording when using repeat structures.

Dear Dorico team.

I just found a bug.
In the music I’m working on, I decided to use repeat endings.
After I added those, no music would appear as I tried to record using midi live recording.

Long story short, I found out that the music did appear, except it was written in the bars that are exactly as many bars down the flow as if the repeat never happened.
I guess I’ll just have to make all the music without any repeat structures and then add them last while I wait for the next patch.

You said that there would be no new major updates (i.e. 2.3), but there could be a few minor ones to fix bugs. Any news on such a patch?

All the best from Jim-Roger Knutsen

What version are you on? I believe both this and the spelling issue you just reported was fixed in 2.2.10.

Anders is correct. Furthermore, 2.2.10 fixed a problem with the first key signature in the flow being considered rather than the prevailing one at the recording position, another problem that Jim-Roger seems to have reported today here: Midi recording weird enharmonic spelling - Dorico - Steinberg Forums

You were both absolutely right!
I have now updated (and rebooted my computer) and everything works.
Thank you both!
