issue with my elicenser

I bought a zoom H1n mic and tried installing the wavelab and cubase softwares that came free with it . The elicenser does not seem to work and is giving me errors which i cannot find solved in any forums.

i am using a windows 8.1 Pro
8 GB RAM

I think, even for Cubase LE, you need to buy the actual eLicenser dongle and plug it into your computer. Then you can select it and enter your download code that was provided by Zoom. Do you own the USB dongle?
