Upgrade from Cubase 4 to 6

I have recently purchased an upgrade for Cubase to take me from Cubase 4 to 6. According to the literature with the upgrade, to install this revision i need to upgrade my platform from Windows Xp to Windows 7.

Cubase 4 runs well on Xp - Will it run on Windows 7 enough for me to upgrade it using the new Cubase version 6???

A few points:

  1. Although 6 is not supported on XP, many people use it so if you wish you can most likely just use XP.
  2. If you decide to move to Windows 7, you don’t need to install Cubase 4 there. When buying the update to 6, you get an installation disc that contains the entire program you can install from scratch. (IE, no need to have Cubase 4 installed in order to install Cubase 6) Your Cubase 4 license on your usb key will be changed to a Cubase 6 license using the code you receive with the disc.
