Does using effects add to your polyphony or do just the midi notes count against polyphony?

Hello,

effects and polyphony are not related with each other. So the effects do not add to polyphony.

Kind regards,

Thanks Freider. How do FX impact CPU? Is there a way we can monitor how stressed the CPU is getting? I have been experiencing pops and clicks. I believe they are related to midi, because they show up in proficient areas (even with those tracks muted), but i am wondering if the are FX related now too. So I am wondering what I can do to limit this issue. Thanks.
